Hanging with my friends

I am very polite and well mannered, y'know. For example, in my foster home, we are allowed to lay on the couch. I know that is a special treat, so I keep my eyes open for when my foster mom wants to let her human friends sit on the couch! Oh, those humans...

Some more about me ...

I am a smart and gentle boy. I like to be around people and please them - people are the best! I might come across  a bit shy at first, but I warm up quickly.  I am also good with other dogs but like I said, people are my favorite.

The resident dog at my foster home seems to like me and I really do love her company. So I would be happy in a home with or without another dog. That's me ... easy-going! 

I would love a home where I can get lots of exercise and can run around in the yard. And, not to toot my own horn, but I am really a pretty good walker!  Since I am big and strong, my foster mom is keeping me on a tight leash, literally... So I am fine-tuning my already great walking skills so that you don’t have to deal with tugging.

Meet Sherman!

Hi there! My name is Sherman. I'm a 2 year old border collie/lab cross... and as you can see, I'm incredibly cute! I'm a real sweetheart, and have made myself right at home with my new foster family.

Don't let those high energy breeds worry you - even though I love to run and play, I'm so laid back. I am quite content to just hang around, snoozing. I know that the house is for relaxing, so I am definitely calm indoors - my foster mom tells me I'm very mature for my age! I'll take that as a compliment!
